We are currently looking for Sales Director for who can help us accelerate commercialization, progress strategic accounts, develop our sales processes and build a strong team. www.elcogen.com

We are now looking for an experienced

Sales Director

You will ideally be based in Helsinki metropolitan region but field-based in Europe is also a possibility. You will be working in close collaboration with The Managing Director of Elcogen Oy and with key personnel in our mother company Elcogen AS in Estonia.

Responsibilities:

  • Key account management of focus accounts including identifying and progressing new and existing strategically important and valuable accounts
  • Conducting technical presentations and discussions with different stakeholders of customers’ organizations
  • Managing contract negotiations and contracts including NDAs, LOIs, JDAs and other collaboration agreements
  • Managing quotations and order confirmations, commercial project management
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as R&D, marketing, and leadership, including regular reporting to board on sales performance
  • Implementing sales processes, KPIs and pipeline management
  • Building a global sales team including direct and indirect sales, setting clear goals, and managing performance

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc., M.Sc. and/or MBA preferentially in a technical field
  • Demonstrated success in account management and international B2B sales of highly technical products
  • Experience of sales management including building strong sales processes, KPIs and managing performance
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to work with a very diverse set of stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation skills, including experience in managing contract negotiations with major international corporates
  • A passion for technology is a must; Experience with the energy sector, especially renewable energy, is a strong bonus
  • Experience in launching new products or technologies for new applications and markets is seen as a strong bonus
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% when the pandemic is over
  • Excellent command of English, other major languages seen as a strong advantage
