Now we are looking for
APPLICATION ENGINEER / MANAGER
to lead the customer projects in their early phase from the point of view of technological applicability. Your location is Kokkola. Remote work is possible part-time, but traveling overseas, especially to North America, will be required for the role. In the position you will report to VP, Business Development, Financing.
The application engineer bridges the gap between technical expertise and customer needs. This role involves understanding customer requirements, presenting and demonstrating Hycamite technology solutions, overseeing successful implementations, providing ongoing technical support, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to optimize and enhance the performance of the Hycamite technology. Ultimately, the application engineer aims to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering tailored, effective, and seamlessly integrated technological solutions.
Primary responsibilities
- Work closely with potential customers to understand their specific requirements, challenges, and goals related to their industrial processes.
- Conduct technology evaluations to showcase how our technology aligns with the customer’s needs and can bring value to their existing processes. This includes calculating and analyzing the energy and mass balances, etc
- Deliver technical presentations to explain the features, capabilities, and benefits of the Hycamite technology, addressing any technical questions or concerns the customers may have.
- Collaborate with the customer to propose customized solutions or configurations that best fit their unique requirements.
- Work closely with both the technology and sales teams to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, helping to address technical inquiries and concerns from potential customers.
- Offer ongoing technical support to address any issues or questions the customer may have after the technology is deployed.
- Work on optimizing the performance of the technology within the customer’s processes and recommend upgrades or updates as needed to keep the technology up-to-date.
- Gather feedback from customers about the performance and usability of the technology and use this information to contribute to future product improvements.
- Develop and update technical documentation, manuals, and guides to assist customers in using the technology effectively.
- Collaborate with the technology team to communicate customer feedback and contribute insights to inform future product enhancements.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting any technical issues they may encounter with the technology, working to resolve problems promptly and effectively.
You have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
- Several years of work experience in similar position
- Good command of both spoken and written Finnish and English, other languages are an advantage
